Profile Customization ​

Every user on algogems has access to their own unique profile page. Choose your username, profile pictures, banners, royalties, links to your social media and more. Settings are accessed from the ⚙️ in the top left of the user page, or by clicking HERE

Royalties ​

Royalties are creator set, and between 0-10%. The royalty percent is displayed while creating your listing. Royalties are accessed from your settings ⚙️.

Minting ​

Algogems allows anyone to mint their NFT at no extra cost, or completely free! Options include images, GIFs, audio, and video. Supported file formats are always being added! The name, unit name, metadata, traits, and the amount to mint can all be modified by the user. Learn more HERE. All NFTs minted on the Algorand blockchain are supported on Algogems!

Verification ​

Anyone can become a verified creator of Algogems! This is determined by our DAO through GEMS Governance. You should have multiple creations (7 minimum) to judge on your profile, and complete your user settings, to help GEMS Governors with their decision. On your user page select “Get Verified” and sign the single opt-in transaction (VGEMS) to join the queue. Being a verified creator will allow your listings to appear on the homepage and the broader market for extra exposure! Verification on average takes one week.

Listing Practices ​

Algogems uses smart contracts and application calls where possible. Sellers can deploy multiple contracts on the Algorand blockchain that will allow purchases of their NFTs and collectibles. Buyers use smart contract calls when buying. When closed, or complete, applications will close and return all remaining set-up funds. Fees are only taken from successful sales.

Sale ​

A fixed price sale in any supported currency, public or private. There can be multiples of one collectible up for sale, and purchased, at once! This listing type can be closed, or updated at any time.

Auction ​

Choose a starting price in any supported currency, and a time duration. Bids must be at least 10% larger than the last, and will return the previous bid amount immediately. In the final 10 minutes new bids will set the auction time to 10 minutes, to prevent last moment auction sniping. Auctions and bids can’t be canceled.

Offer ​

A set price $ALGO offer for any NFT on Algorand. This includes NFTs that are listed on Algogems and other platforms. Any user who has the NFT can accept the offer, and will receive an Algogems notification. If the NFT is listed on Algogems, or elsewhere, you will not be notified and will have to cancel the live listing to accept. The NFT/ASA must be in your wallet to complete an offer and will use the smallest unit size if fractional or multi-mint. Made offers appear under Listings, offers to accept appear under Pending. Offers can be canceled anytime to return all funds, immediately.

Shuffle ​

A fixed price sale for a random NFT or collectible in any supported currency, publicly or with a whitelist. Multiple NFTs and collectibles can be added simultaneously. This listing type can be delayed, or canceled and closed at any time.

Fusion (Swap) ​

A mixture of input NFTs or collectibles and a set output. The seller will receive all the components and the set price when purchased. The buyer receives the result. You can cancel a fusion after creation.

Packs (Bundle) ​

An advanced listing type that allows the purchase of multiple NFTs or collectibles at once, grouped together. Packs use random selection from each pool for the final purchased grouping. Multiple NFTs or collectibles can make up each pool. Every purchase can be unique from the last! Additionally, remove any randomness and allow users to know the exact grouping, before buying. Every purchase will be exactly the same as the last! Packs and be canceled and closed after creation.

Staking ​

A private tool that will airdrop any supported currency to an NFT or collectible holder. Holders must be opted into the currency, and have the NFT in their wallet to receive the reward. You can’t cancel a staking plan after setting it up. Holders can claim their stakings, from their profile page, before weekend distribution!
